Field Day 2021
Parents,
We are SO EXCITED for a fun-filled day on Wednesday, June 2: FIELD DAY!
Some things you need to know:
- Send your student in a color t-shirt or spirit wear shirt and khaki shorts or jeans
- 1st Grade – Yellow
- 2nd Grade – Red
- 3rd Grade – Orange
- 4th Grade – Green
- 5th Grade – Blue
- 6th Grade – Purple/Black/Tie-dye
- Be sure to put LOTS of sunscreen on them – they can wear a hat too!
- Double-check that your student’s water bottle is clearly labeled with your student’s full name
Items we need:
- We need 30 EMPTY 2-liter soda bottles – enjoy a treat with your family, and send the bottle to the reception desk!
Help needed:
- We need LOTS of volunteers to help!!!
- Each volunteer will be trained on one station and all grades will rotate through those stations
- Field Day is so busy, we need your full attention on keeping students safe. It won’t work to have younger children with you.

Off Campus Books Due 5.27.21
Dear Off Campus Parents,
All books with barcodes on them are due tomorrow.
This includes:
- Math textbooks
- Reading textbooks
- History readers
- What Your Grader Needs To Know (Hardbound)
- Novels
- Any other books that have an APA barcode
Please gather all your student’s books and return them to the school tomorrow. It is ideal if you bring them in the labeled box we gave you.
If your 4-6 grade student is testing tomorrow, the best time to return the books is AFTER the test, when you pick them up.
Our curriculum staff will be available to check in your books and ensure you don’t have any outstanding items or fines. It is ideal if a parent is available to review this with them.

D2 Fun Run – Ready, Set, Go!
Race Day
Get ready to run! This is a “virtual” race – we are not gathering together to run the same route. But it is a “real” race – participants should find a route, run as fast as they can, and report their time. Top performers will receive medals!
Create Your Route
To help you map and record your personal 1 Mile or 5K race

- On the computer, right-click on the point and select “Measure distance.”
Run Responsibly
Drink lots of water, wear sunscreen, and follow all traffic laws.
Supervision
We encourage preschool and elementary students to run under adult supervision.
Report Your Time
Please submit your time at this link: https://www.americanprepfoundation.org/2021-race-results (link will be enabled on Friday, May 14)
