Our 2nd grade team organized a culminating event for their students after completing the unit on Immigration. Students had the opportunity to experience some of the different circumstances and events that many immigrants to our country experience, from being together on a ship and then getting separated into different holding areas for different reasons. Thank you to the parents that came in to volunteer and for our amazing staff that organized such a fun learning experience.
Chess Champion
Congratulations to Hridaan Lala, one of our second grade students that recently won The Stewart Open Chess tournament, a US Chess Federation rated tournament. Hridaan has been participating in our chess club over the last few years and has been a great help playing with and teaching other students. Congratulations Hridaan!
Rock the Socks
Every year our schools help out those in our community that are in need during this time of year. This year we are collecting socks for The Road Home shelter to distribute to deserving people. It is amazing what a difference something simple as socks can make for those in our community. We will be collecting socks from November 30th-August 14th.

Generations of Veterans
It is a very special day when our school celebrates Veterans Day! It is always an inspiring and moving program and this year we were able to have many WWII Veterans join us. It is also very inspiring when multiple generations within the same family join our program. Thank you Veterans for protecting and preserving the rights and freedoms that all of us as Americans enjoy!
Seussical The Musical!
It is always an exciting time of the year when our students perform a musical. This year’s musical is “Seussical the Musical”. Come be entertained by our very talented cast of Draper 3 and Draper 2 students.
Book Drive!
Our students are very interested in the new Reading University books that have been displayed in our front lobby. Our goal is to have students and families purchase, read and then donate the books to their classroom libraries. This is a great opportunity to create a literary legacy of giving for our students, knowing that they helped increase the books in our school’s libraries.

Music Mentors
Since we are a K-12 campus we have great opportunities to have our older students mentor and help our younger students. Our music department shared some of these photos of our secondary students mentoring and working with our 6th grade students. Thanks to all of those students helping build up the skills and confidence of our younger students.
