Dear Parents,
We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. We are happy to be back at school with your students!
In the past several weeks, some of our students have been required to quarantine due to exposure to others with COVID-19, and we’ve learned a lot about how we can best support them during that time at home. We gather all their materials for pick up and provide links to online math and reading lessons. However, there is often a one or two day delay during which they can’t continue learning.
We have decided to have all students take home their groups materials (math & reading) every day, so that in the event of a quarantine, they can immediately work on math and reading from home. Within 24 hours, the teacher will gather the remaining materials and make them available at the reception desk for pick up.
Fortunately, the number of cases at our campus has been low, and we do not anticipate a school closure. We hope that having math and reading materials with the students will provide an easy transition in the event that anyone has to quarantine.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
Thank you!
