Beginning Term 2, we regularly offer the reward of wearing jeans to all students. We typically have a “Jeans Friday” so students can wear a polo shirt with jeans. If there is no school on Friday, sometimes an alternate day is chosen.
Jeans day is a reward for good behavior – usually for having no #7 infractions (missing homework) for two weeks. As the year progresses, the requirements may increase. Watch the newsletter for the specific qualifications for jeans day.
Beginning Term 4, students must have no #7 infractions (missing homework) AND no #2 (uniform infractions) for two weeks.
Jeans Day will consist of any of the following uniform pieces:
- Blue jeans in good repair
- no colored jeans
- no jeans with holes
- no skinny jeans (you must be able to “pinch an inch” on both sides)
- no decorative markings
- no shorts
- Blue polo shirt
- Regular uniform top is also okay – no tie required
- Regular uniform shoes
Students may wear their regular or Friday uniform if they don’t want to wear jeans.
Students who have NOT earned this privilege, but come in jeans, will need to call home for an adult to bring them a change of clothes.
