5th and 6th Grade Ballroom Dance Clinics
Students–come explore ballroom dance! We’ll jive to the Swing, we’ll sway to the Waltz, we’ll jam to the ChaCha! And, we’ll show off your hard work as guest performers in the Ballroom Dance Company’s end-of-year concert. Parents–help your student develop coordination and rhythm, while also learning respect for others, focus, teamwork, and social confidence.
The clinic will run for 7 weeks: Thursdays 2:45-3:30 pm in the D2 gym, from March 23rd to May 11th, with performances on May 12th/13th. The $60 clinic fee includes 7 lessons and the costume rental for the shows. The instructor is Joy Price, our ballroom company coach who comes to us from BYU-Idaho where she was a professor in the dance department. This is a great opportunity for our students! Please see the flyer for more registration details.

Veterans Day Assembly 2016
“Armed Forces Salute” for our Upcoming Annual Veterans Day Event
Our 4th grade students have been working with our musical directors to record the “Armed Forces Salute” track for our Annual Veterans Day events. American Prep has assemblies each year that give our students the opportunity to understand and recognize the incredible sacrifice of our veterans and what they have done to secure the freedoms that all of us enjoy in our country. This year’s events will be on November 9th. These are very special assemblies and we would welcome any veterans interested in attending to contact our front office at 801.810.3590. We will have two assemblies with a reception for veterans starting at both 8:30 A.M. and 11:30 A.M.
