Builders Assembly
It was an exciting morning for our upper elementary students that were recognized for being “Enthusiastic Builders” during the month of September. Added to this tradition, we also recognized an enthusiastic staff member, Mr. Hendersen, one of our fabulous 6th grade teachers. Congratulations to all our student and staff builders this month.
Carpool Buddy
Almost Finished
It is an exciting time on our campus. The secondary building is nearing completion and the parking lot is almost fully paved. Crews are working at finishing the last paving sections of our parking lot and soon we will be able to drive all the way around the new building. Thanks for all your patience during our construction.
Academic Support Team Training
Our FSO Leaders spent some time working with the Academic Support Teams training them on a variety of ways they can provide support to individual classroom teachers. One of the strengths of our schools is the high level of parental involvement. The additional support and help with our teachers makes a significant difference in the quality of education at American Prep. Thank you FSO and our AST Leaders!
Golf Team
It was an exciting week, as our golf team qualified for the state tournament and traveled to Cedar City. It was a great privilege to help coach the team this year along with Darci Olson and Darius Beard. Qualifying for state in our first year of competition was quite the accomplishment. Congratulations Seamus McVicar, Nathan Stone, Skyler Strubin, Nick Wanner, Josh Christiansen,Gabe Maxfield and Jamison Proctor.
Packed House
We had a packed house at the beginning of the day for our K-3 Assembly. It was wonderful having so many parents show up to see the students “Show What You Know”. Having the assembly outside allowed for a very large audience. At the end of the day, we had a packed hallway for the ever popular Lego Club. Students enjoy this time together building all kinds of creations. Thanks Mr. Phinney for your time and energy to make this happen.
