The recent time change makes our days start an hour earlier. Our school is basking in the different light that accompanies the time change.  It was a beautiful sunrise this morning as we started our day.  Also check out the banner on the fence and come support our schools this weekend with The Barnes and Noble Bookfair.

Our schools always have lots of activities going on throughout the day.  Here, our planning team for our Spring Fun Run is using our front lobby to start working on all of the details started.  Even though the Fun Run is not until May 18th, there is still lots of planning that needs to done.  As you can see, our planning committee is small.  We could use some more help on the planning committee, please contact Whitney Haselden whaseldon@haselden, or Jill Welch kjillwelch@gmail.com, to get involved.

Congratulations to all of our K-3 Builder Award winners for “Befriending Others” in our school.  Promoting the inclusive culture within our school can be done by students of all ages.  Thanks to all of these students that have been shining examples of our American Prep character and values!

Today one of our secondary students had a chance to do a little busking during carpool.  It was such a nice way to get in a little practice while waiting for carpool to start and also make a couple of dollars.
