Welcome back to all of our students! Mrs. Durling started things off with an assembly for grades K-3 in the gym. All of our students and staff brought positive energy as they raised their hands with excitement for the start of our new calendar year.
Mary Poppins visited our school today to recognize students from each classroom that were being perfectly honest. Her visit was a great way to reinforce our builder theme for the month of October. “I am a Builder when I am perfectly honest”. Mandy Brown, from our Character Development Team was her escort for the visit.
It is that time of the year when students are wearing their coats to school and possibly out to recess, but many of these coats do not make it back to the students and their homes. If you recognize any of the coats in the picture, please come and pick them up and if your child cannot find their jacket, their is a likely possibility that the coat ended up in our lost and found. The rack of lost and found items is around the corner from the main office, have your students come by and find their missing jacket, lunchbox, water bottle, tennis shoes ect…
It was an exciting morning for our upper elementary students that were recognized for being “Enthusiastic Builders” during the month of September. Added to this tradition, we also recognized an enthusiastic staff member, Mr. Hendersen, one of our fabulous 6th grade teachers. Congratulations to all our student and staff builders this month.
It is an exciting time on our campus. The secondary building is nearing completion and the parking lot is almost fully paved. Crews are working at finishing the last paving sections of our parking lot and soon we will be able to drive all the way around the new building. Thanks for all your patience during our construction.
